Hi all,
I've been trying to sell a 25" U2000 monitor on this newsgroup. The
few people interested requested pictures, so when I was adjusting the
picture, I noticed I couldn't get the horizontal width to go all the
way to the edges (about 1" short on each side). Picture was fine
otherwise. I figured it was just a cap kit issue. Well, after capping
it, the issue still remains. Following my Randy Fromm flowchart, I
checked the B+ and it's too high (140V instead of 130V) even adjusted
all the way down; flowchart indicates "horizontal deflection failure"
for this case.
Bottom line is I don't want to mess with it any more, so it's
available to anyone who can come and pick it up in Streamwood, IL this
Saturday morning. Use it as-is (since it appears to work fine
otherwise) or send the board to P&L video, pay $50 for repair and have
a $50 25" monitor if you like.
Please email only if you can pick it up Saturday morning before 10:00
am.

If nobody claims it, please let me know if you would consider shipping
just the chassis. I've got a 25" monitor frame, and just found a TV
at the curb the other day that, according to an old thread this the
NG, uses the same tube as the U2000. (A63AFW36X).
