Glad you got them ok. I would HIGHLY doubt if you could post it on a website. They used to be YEARS ago, which is when I grabbed all the ones I have, but I remember reading something about him having a fit and making everyone take them down.

NIce Flowchart Thanks! I don't guess Randy Fromm will let me post
that on my web site...?
Any how, the tour goes like this: lift D10, "Still no picture" ->->->
"You have a horizontal deflection failure. Before you go any further,
visually inspect the chassis for bad solder joints ... "
Everything checks out... ->->->
"Measure the voltage at the metal tab of TR15"... WOAH! WAIT...
Off the scale of my 1000V multi meter...
Can I simply assume a shorted BU508?

OK, let's try that again:
I have a Hantarex WTC9000 10" monitor that shows no pic on the tube.
The high voltage is powering up; I can hear the crackle as she powers
up. The B+ is measuring in a little high at 145V. The long resistor
along the side is cool when the monitor has been powered up for a
while, so I believe the fly back is good.
I suspect the X-ray protection circuit, especially since the B+ is
high, but I removed diode D10 and powered up with no improvement [no
noticeable change at all] .
Any ideas what I am missing here?
Thanks,
