Can someone set me straight?
I just took the pinouts for each, and printed them out and used them
to make a 'crossover adapter' that basicly just swapped some pins
around. Pop the 2532 in the top and pop the fixture into your
programmer.
I have only used it to read them from my USB programmer, I always
used my needhams 20 to program so I can't verify that it works. My top
USB programmer has not liked 2732 programming since I bought it and
only works like 1 out of 5 times regardless of the supply current. It
will read them though and since I usually work in windows at the shop
I can toss them into the top and verify them, but have to reboot in
DOS to burn them with the needhams =( And thats mainly because the
needhams driver and port pooling tend to go haywire in windows. It
will work fine and then out of the blue I have to restart it because
it forgot a module was loaded, etc.
It's a messed up situation. I swear I'll fix it one of these days..
lol.
I built mine with a ZIF socket for the top end fixed to a small pre-
drilled PCB, and headers out of the bottom. All the jumpering is done
on the board to change the pinouts. Works fine.
