Hi;
My RB project is almost complete. Started putting all the pieces
together and testing, testing, testing. Fired it up and the display
was off the screen,(scores scrolled over the top of the display). I
swapped the monitors (V2000) with my working BZ and the monitor
displays perfect, (problem with PCB). Placed the RB in test and came
up with bad RAM @ C1 + C2.
My question is: The PCB has 2114LC RAM and I have 2114L2 RAM
available, can I use these in place of the 2114LC and what does the
LC/L2 desiginate?
Thanks
Jeff
Hi;
I forgot to mention that I had adjusted the VR's on the AVG PCB all
the way down and still the display is off the top and bottom of the
screen. I cannot get to the test pattern because of the RAM failure
but it looks like the sides(left -right) are also off. The display
kinda shakes a little as well.
But the main question is can I swap those RAM?
Help........
Thanks
Jeff
Is there a difference in the speed rating of the IC's?
I was just informed that one RAM is 200ns and the other is 400ns but
it should be OK to replace the slower with the faster.
?????
