I had written a while back about wanting to do something at Stewarts
in Northfield, NJ - on Tilton Rd. There have been some favorable
posts here about the location. I got feedback that it is too far to
travel on a WEEKLY basis, and hard to commit to, so HERE is what we
have:

From NOW until Sunday, Dec 16th, the highest score posted on each of
Diner and Taxi will win a $20 gift certificate to Stewart's. This
will be tracked via the high scores posted on the games. So,
basically, if you get first place on either of these games, put your
initials in, and if we don't know who you are, please email me OR Ken
Schafer. Or even post it on here, or tell a store employee. Just
somehow let us know, so you can get your prize.

The games are in GREAT shape, this hopefully is the first of MANY
tournaments like it. So, I ask and encourage anybody in the area to
come out and give it a shot. Two vintage games that are impossible
to
find on location, and a very generous prize. I know a few people
have
told me they will be in the area between now and then, so this is
added incentive. Support a great location!!!

About the restaurant and location, real quick. Ken Schafer is the
owner of the games and partially the restaurant. I do not have any
ownership in it, I'm just helping run it since I live close. The
restaurant itself, I was thinking actually if you put yourself INSIDE
the Diner of the Diner pinball machine, THAT is what the place feels
like. You would order a burger and fries, or hot dogs, and Stewarts
is FAMOUS for their Root Beer.

Tournament starts NOW. Ends on Sunday Dec 16th. If you have any
questions, tech issues, or get a high score, email myself or Ken.
There will be TWO certificates awarded, one for each game. The same
person CAN win both. There is also an Elvis, EM Surf Champ, and
Pennant Fever. Along with Fast & Furious (driving game), Ms Pac Man,
Donkey Kong, Asteroids, and Monaco GP racing game. Ken has a
rotation
of some other pins too, so let's make this work, and it can be a
thing
that is done over and over again, and on different games to keep it
fresh. This being our first time, any feedback or suggestions is
welcome. Above all else, have fun playing pinball.
