Millipede PCB help!

Hi, I picked up a Millipede that I've been working on and am having
trouble with the board. When I power the game on, it gives the
garbage screen and the tones which indicate bad ram. At first it was
giving 4 beeps, which indicates a bad 2101A ram at location N4. I
replaced that, turned it back on, then it was giving 3 beeps,
indicating the 2101A ram chip at location M2. I replaced that, and
fixed a broken trace, and turned it back on. You guessed, it now it
was 5 beeps, the 2101A right above that one at location L2, same
story, replaced it and got 7 beeps, the 2101A chip at location K2. At
that point I could see where this was going, so I replaced both the
2101A at K2 and went ahead and replaced the 2101A at J2, as well. I
powered up the game, expecting my problems to be solved, and... it
went back to 3 beeps again! I reseated all the chips and ROMS,
checked the solder at the other chips and everything seems okay. Does
anybody have any ideas? Thanks! joe@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
