Re: Tech Help needed on ATARI RotJ Upright

Unfortunately, I am a newbie. Where doI get a LM324 chip? Hw many will
I need to replace? Any help is appreciated. Thanks!

I'd say just about every big parts mail-order house carries them. Digi-Key,
Mouser, etc. Or perhaps some kind soul here would donate a couple out of
goodwill. :)

However, if you've never desoldered an integrated circuit before, I strongly
suggest letting someone with more experience do the job, because it is far
too easy to do more harm than good. I doubt that the LM324 chips will be in
sockets.
