Atari 720 video help.

Hi I just picked up a 720. Of course the monitor is in desperate
need of a cap kit, but that is simple enough to aquire and resolve.
What I really need help with is some of the video issues. anywhere
there is a sprite, multiple lines are missing out of the sprite and
put elsewhere on the screen... kinda like a ghost image. Every other
horizontal line of graphic is missing from the sprites and re-
transplanted. Is this a video ram issue or something else? I ran the
ram/rom self test and it checks out ok. Any ideas? Thanks.
