I picked up a Tempest this weekend and the game plays blind. I've
currently installed a new cap kit and the lv2000 low voltage pcb.
LV2000 has been adjusted to +26v and -26v respectively. I thought all
that would solve my issue but the game still plays blind. Both lights
on the lv2000 come on as they should. The neck does have a faint glow
so I'm not really sure where to look now. Any suggestions?
Make sure your getting deflection off the PCB. You can check it with a
meter at the X and Y outputs on the pcb. It should bound between +6
and -6 volts. Very common on Tempest pcbs, at least most of them that
I have dealt with.
