Dunno where my original reply went off to, so here it goes again.

Each of those boards needs to have the pincushion correction disabled
or you will get outward bowing from the amplifone. It won't be
anything super severe, but it will be there. I can only assume it was
disabled from the factory on factory amps. Jed Margolin and someone
else put together a hack to disable the pincushion correction on
tempest hardware with a simple jumper set. You can find the data on
ionpool.net and try and apply it to each of those hardwares. A quick
comparison of the schematics for tempest/grav/sd/etc and the hack
should learn you the jist of what's going on.

I have to look into it myself for the SD i'm amp'n for my multi
vector. But I have no idea at this moment when I could publish the
results. I plan to run 4-5 different original hardwares in that cab
using what could be loosely construed as a multi jamma switcher like
clay makes (or made, heh) but of my own device. I was gonna finish it
off with a collage of artwork from the different games and Ian Boffins
CP overlay if I can ever get around to vectorizing the shitty GIF that
remains of it. Seems the nice format is long gone. Unless someone out
there has a nice copy for me? :D
