Re: Slightly OT: Printing from a pdf

Okay, I guess I am a doof. I just tried this by zooming in and resizing the window to only show what I wanted and it worked like a charm. Sheesh.....Guess I should try the really simple stuff first instead of trying to go the difficult route.

I basically zoomed into the portion I had selected with a box and resized the window to fit that size and then selected "Print----Current View" and it worked.

Thanks again to all who helped with this. I'm usually much better at troubleshooting computer issues. I'll use the K.I.S.S. principle next time.

Unfortunately it doesn't give me that option. Only "none", "Fit to

Trying to print out a portion of a chassis schematic from a pdf I
downloaded from WG. How do I select a portion of the schematic so I can
print it out at a blown up size so that I can read it and take it with me
into the shop to use for troubleshooting. I have Adobe Reader 8.0, Foxit
Reader, and they usual office products and can't for the life of me figure
out how to print it out at a larger size.
I have tried blowing up the image to 200% of the current size and
selecting print "current view" but that still cuts out a large portion of
what I want. Anybody here sharper than me when it comes to printing these
things out? What program should I use? I would really like to print out
the whole schematic in several sheets on 8.5 x 11" paper and paste them
together or use individual sheets when troubleshooting the chassis.
Thanks guys. I know somebody here has the answer.

Email it to me and i will print it out on the plotter.
