It is an upright cabinet. I check the +5v and I adjusted it up

Just got my centipede working for the first time since I got it a few
weeks ago. It still has one problem. When playing in two player mode
the shooter moves all the way to the right on its own. It will still
move but will quickly move back to the right. Has anyone see this
problem before?
Is this a cocktail cabinet? I ran into this very problem in a cocktail
_Centipede_ about a year ago and it turned out to be -- believe it or not --
a slight adjustment of the +5 volt power supply. Turning up the voltage on
the audio/reg board just a skosh cured the problem.
Before you try that, though, you might try cleaning the edge connector of
the motherboard and reseating the connector. Measure the +5 volt bus of the
motherboard before adjusting anything. It may not take much adjustment...
just .2 of a volt or so. You never know. Try it and see.
