For the socket I ended up replacing it with one from a 4900.
I used the same yoke yes. 6100
Convergence was a bitch.
I cut and grinded away the the frame with the frame mounted power
transistors for mounting purposes. Had to make up for the heat
dissipation loss with heat sync mods added.
It was heck of a job and Id do it again!. thanks guys for all the kind
words.

Here are pictures of results achieved when transplanting a 19" 6100
vector over to a new 25" tube. Certainly one to share. Good stuff. I
really enjoyed this project. Its pure eye candy!
