There are X OUT and Y OUT test points on the motherboard, and that's where
the video signals come out. You might try clipping on a small audio
amplifier and see if you're getting any signals out of both test points.
That's a quick & dirty method. If you're missing one or both, you've
isolated the problem to the motherboard.
Thanks Matt. I do have a 20 MHz Protek oscilloscope. I didn't even
think about that. I'll try that today. Thanks for the help! John
Just played a few games on the oscilloscope. I also checked the signals
directly at the 12 pin Molex to the monitor. Getting good video there,
too. I think I have a bad transistor in the monitor. I will follow up
when parts arrive. Thanks again! John
