Try cleaning the edge connector. I had a Punchout do the same thing and
after pulling the connector and cleaning the edge connector, it produced a
nice picture. Using a pencil eraser could possibly do the trick.

I have a Punch Out that Plays perfect the only problem is the video on
lower screen:

I know it is definately NOT a bad monitor as I have switched connectors
and both have great pictures. I've read other posts where others said
they had same problem and it was a little chip at the top of the
board.....If you have had this problem, which chip? what type? on
which board?
Game plays great, just wish I could see it!
