AS IS NO REFUNDS

heh... I like the ones that say "as-is, no-refunds, 100% working"

Well... which is it?? 100% working? as-is?

And, the AS IS NO REFUNDS horse hockey is lame. If I don't get it in the
condition I bought it, you refund it. That's how a contract works, and
yes, a person to person sale is a contract. Take the time to pack things
correctly, and if you don't and things get damaged buck up and make it
right. Don't use the lame insurance excuse as they don't pay unless they
damage the box or lose it which rarely happens.

I don't know why John expects a reply. When he shipped me a monitor

of resolution.

Reply back to what? Did you pay for shipping insurance or offer?

Um, I had this exact same problem and let me tell you something about
shipping insurance. If you ship a monitor, and the neck is broken, and
the outside of the box isn't absolutely destroyed then they won't pay the
claim. You see, insurance doesn't pay for an improperly packed monitor so
even though I paid for insurance my broken monitor wasn't covered.
Luckily I paid w/paypal and I reversed the charges and sent old boy his
broken monitor back.

Lesson to learn: IF YOU SELL SOMETHING PACK IT WORTH A ***.

Also: You have to put NO REFUNDS, AS-IS, NO WARRANTY if you don't want
to accept a return.

Sounds like "your bad" John if you didn't pack it properly.

Andy

No...... The monitor, if my memory serves me correctly cost you $15.00
shipped. A brand new samtron 5" monitor had a cost of $15.00 +
shipping. It's been about hhhmmmm 2 years ago? Minus the shipping
charge, were you still asking for like a refund of like a dollar or 2?
I don't know what you would expect me to do on that. It's an
unfortunate incident, but I can't accept responsibility for something
that has a value of $15.00 that was damaged by the post office. I
shipped it in the same box that it came in. If it's an apology that
you're looking for 2 years later over a dollar or two. "I'm sorry".
Feel better?
John
