Thanks - next dumb question: what's the best way to do that? No pins appear
to be shorted together (tried a DMM on it in-circuit), and it doesn't look
burned or anything. I know how to test a 3-legged xistor but I quickly get
out of my understanding in cases like these.
be sure to verify that ic4 is ok.
