I checked the cable, it may have been installed upside down, and that would
have flipped the missing segment... damn thing still wont boot up,
though.... This is the second drive, first one had a bad controller card,
which I swapped w/and identical drive, but a rev higher, hoping to resurrect
it. Second drive from e-pay was a 'clone', still doesn't boot. I changed
the jumpers on the board to get a diagnostic menu, but I don't have the
control card for it to navigate the menus....
I stuck the thing in my shed for a while... I'm going back to pinball!!

The original IDE cable in my machine also has a segment cut from one ofthe
wires. The black connector block goes to the board and the blue connectordrive
block goes to the drive. The IDE connector pin missing on the IDE board
appears standard to me.

yes, it says audio intialized, can't load fsys. This is the second
used.I've put in this puppy.
Can anyone check the following on their machine?
the IDE cable on this seems weird... there is a pin missing on the IDE
connector on the board. but it is not in the typical key location on a
regular IDE drive... its off 1 pin. A standard keyed cable cannot be
getThe cable also as a segment missing on it, about an inch form the end of
the
connector block. Is that normal?
Thanks,

Unplug the hard drive and see if it does the same thing. I think theload
board
is trying to load files from the drive but if the drive is bad it wont
them and crashes.screen

I'm trying to get a skins game functional. When I start it up, the
andsays waiting for audio, then comes back with an audio timeout message
reboots. It does give an audible alarm/chime. This repeats until I
frustrated and turn it off :-)
what can I do to get a different result?
Thanks!!
