Hey Kenny, I see you are as crazy about CC as I am.
it's my fav, nice score by the way.
You all most made it to the burning building, the 12th.

Back in 1980 a brand new Crazy Climber Deluxe came to my local arcade. I
made it to the 12th building, it's the most awesome site you can imagine.
moving flames everywhere just like on the bezels of CC's. I made it there on
the standard 3 men, my score was in the 800,000 somewhere. I lost my last
man on that building. I was HOOKED for life at that point. tried desperately
to get back to that burning building. but to this day I have not been able
to get there.

That CCD only lasted in my arcade around a couple of months, until it was so
broken from people it had to be removed. the CP was destroyed.

This game is why I started collecting in the first place. To one day find my
own CCD!
I have owned every version of cab/table that was made. The CCD was the last
one I found and have since sold off the rest.

I feel good-

I just got 503,450 on Crazy Climber. I'm pretty sure that's my
all-time high! I died somewhere on the 10th building.

Alas, my machine is set to 4 starting players instead of the
'approved' 3 starting players setting for the record. I'm gonna change
that setting and practice up real good!!

The trick is to not try so hard on the 2nd and 3rd buildings of each
set, and to hope for a little luck on the 4th (death is unescapable
sometimes with the falling signs on the split towers).

It's funny- I played a LOT last night and kept getting frustrated.
My first game tonight turned out to be calm and my biggest ever.
