Just a warning about 'The Arcade Store' in TEMPE, AZ.

I purchased a Golden Axe board from this guy 'NOLANX' (EBAY user ID)
and it was the worst transaction I have ever had to deal with. First of
all his auction left you with the impression that the board should be
working, as it was advertised great condition and he included images of
the game in action.

Anyhow, I won the auction and paid $12.50 for PARCEL POST shipping.
After a few weeks I sent a few e-mails asking any status since I did
not get anything yet or hear anything from him. About 5 weeks later I
get an e-mail basically saying 'Great news your board is on its way!'
... Okay, so 41 days after I paid, the board arrived at my local Post
Office.

Well here is just part of the letter I send to him after I picked up
the board:

---------------------------------------------------------------------
The date I won the auction was: Jan-11-06
And the date I paid for the item was on: Jan-11-06
And the date I actually received the board was on: Feb-21-06 (41 days)

The 41 day shipping was actually not the real problem; Nor the fact
that the board was poorly packaged and did not work, which is no big
deal since the auction description never actually stated 'Working
Board' other than just showing screens shots in the pictures...I
suppose if the board actually worked this is what I may be seeing.
Anyhow, the REAL problem I encountered was that the board was shipped
in a 'Flat Rate - Priority Mail' box, with a MEDIA MAIL postage
label on it. I had to pay an additional $5.55 (As shown in the photo
attached) to get the non-working board. So from the $12.50 I paid for
shipping via USPS Parcel Post, I had to pay then a total of $18.05 for
the package which was shipped to me via a $2.55 Media Mail.

So the PayPal payment date was on Jan-11-06, in the amount of $39.50
... plus I did pay again an additional $5.55 in order to receive the
package due to the problem above, and shown in the photo. If possible I
would like some sort of compensation all of this refunded back to my
PayPal account, and please no less than the additional unexpected $5.55
I needed to pay.

Thank you for your time.

------------------------------------------------------------------------

As of today I still have not heard a peek from this person and I've
send him this e-mail twice now.

And look at this:
http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=6259651761

He has now raised the shipping from $12.50 to $16.99 (PARCEL POST), and
he still will send it to you via USPS Media Mail for under 3 bucks.

So FU Arcade Store in TEMPE!
