Your experience may vary.

And your little rule of eBay is your, and probably others, rule. I
know people who's server went down and couldn't get online, let alone
answer e-mails. And the server was hosting the pictures in the
listings and they were also gone from the listing. So, there is a
loophole to your rule, in my opinion.

I have a few rules, never buy anything from anyone that puts "WOW" in
the title of the listing.
Never buy anything from anyone with a generic picture of an item you
want, unless it's a movie or tape or something like that.
Never buy a game, unless I am close enough to pick it up in person and
pay at pickup.
And lately, never deal with anyone who quotes KLOV as to the rarity of
a game.
These are just a few of mine.

I know him, not that we are best friends, but I do know him. And I,
that's just me, think he's a good guy.

I, also, am having trouble getting him to answer my e-mails. I
e-mailed him this morning and no response yet. And I would guess that
the last dozen that I have sent, he only answered two.

I hope he comes through with everyone, but if I don't, dish me up a big
'ole plate of crow.
