Shady Seller alert: baddazzdiesel aka dmptrk aka iseeyourcameltoe

Just wanted to give everyone a heads up on baddazzdiesel on Ebay. I won a
NOS Asteroids Deluxe overlay on Ebay from him on the 6th of January and I
have not gotten word one from him yet even though I sent one direct email to
him requesting a total with shipping, that was sent on the night of the 6th.
I then sent two more official requests through Ebay for a total amount on
the night of the 7th and the night of the 8th and still not word one. He
requires you to send him a money order within 5 days of the close of the
auction and he also states to email him for the price of the shipping
charges. He also has incomplete and probably bogus contact info listed with
Ebay. So, its a little hard to send the payment to him within 5 days seeing
how he wont get back to you and give you a total or a real mailing address.
I would think contacting him once through direct email and twice through
Ebays official request form over the period of 4 days after the close of the
auction would have been plenty of time to get back with me. He was selling
three of these overlays at the same time. I suspect he didnt sell it to me
probably due to the fact that it only closed out for around $22.00. Seems
funny how he had the time to deal with someone that bought a couple of
cabinets off of him that closed out on the 6th and that he has left feedback
for on the 8th. He has been around.
His email is iseeyourcameltoe1@xxxxxxxxx and after doing a little research
it seems he was dmptrk and iseeyourcameltoe on Ebay before, along with maybe
a few more. According to google this is a Kevin and/or Jim of the
Plymouth-Canton area of Michigan and they are supposed to be as shady as
they come. Seems like they have a real track record for not selling stuff
that doesnt meet what they want it to bring. So, if you are were thinking
about bidding on some of their crap then I wouldnt. I am making this posting
now so that you dont waste your time bidding on some of baddazzdiesel 's
auctions. I would be intersted in hearing from any of you that havent gotten
a reply yet from them yet, especially on auctions that closed low.
I also find it interesting on how a certain percentage of his auctions are
private auctions while several others are not. Maybe the private auctions
are the ones he really takes the effort to shill. Who knows. It really
doesnt matter to me whether a lot of people have completed deals with him or
not, his track record has shown that he is basically a shady trader overall
and one that has had at least 4 or 5 user names on Ebay within the past year
or two. Its basically a waste of time and you take a chance of getting
ripped off.
Also, if this had been basically a unknown seller that didnt have a bad
previous track record then I probably would have let it go. I just hate to
see the same bad sellers constantly popping up with new user names.
