Re: suggestions for "hiding" the tears on a control panel bend.



I restored my Mappy before there were replacement CPOs. To fix the tears at
the bend I got a piece of clear plastic corner molding, the kind you use for
protecting the corner of a wall, and spray painted the underside red. I then
attached it to the CP using double-sided carpet tape. The end result is

This molding is available from stores like Home Depot and costs only a
couple of bucks.
