Ok, wonder no more! Here's the deal.. I've got a computer sitting on
my desk at work. It it slow beyond belief (especially since it is a P4
1.4 GHz!) locks up/crashes frequently, and spontaneously powers down
and reboots. I've told the computer guys about it a number of times,
but basically if it works AT ALL, they aren't going to do anything
about it. So I'm going to help it along :) I could just short out the
chip myself, but that would be wasteful. I'd rather find one that's
already broken and put it in there!
