I sold my 2600 on greedbay a while back, bunch of extras including
joysticks, paddles, the special Star Raiders pad + game, driving
paddles, Starpath Supercharger + Stella gets a new brain cd, and over
100 games and it brought in around $400, but it seems to me the prices
on those have gone down quite a bit lately. I know on Greedbay the
"vader" or Heavy Sixer models do fetch a little more, and supposedly
are more reliable, so given the choice I would opt for that. At a
yard/garage sale I wouldn't pay too much for anything, depending on how
nice the unit was I might go up to $20 for a console, if I knew it was
working, maybe $5 for the video pinball, though I don't think those are
as valuable, or sought after as the older Pong consoles.
There was a guy at a toy convention here that was trying to unload a
few NIB 2600's for $200 each, but I don't think he sold them.
That Stella CD was pretty sweet though, Almost wish I had kept that one
for myself. It had some nice development software on it.
