Hi,
I dont think there was any bashing, I only said that I think the board is no more than a computer with MAME on it. I cant help what folks read into that;0

I think your a great guy. I too hate these multi/Mame games. they have KILLED the hobby as well as the value of the great classics. I think what you and Steve do is great for the hobby. Most of us don't have a warehouse to put all of our classics. So for those that don't have the space then the multi is the way to go Again I would love for the price of these multi cads to drop so we could start making money off the real classics. To go to an auction and get working Ms Pacs and Pacmans for under $400.00 is unheard of. So thats my 2 cents worth
Don't bash a guy who is selling what most of you want.

Maybe I didn't explain myself well enough to you folks. This is a horizontal monitor deal. Doesn't play any real classics except for a handful like Phoenix and Bagman. Mostly side-scrolling stuff and fighting games, Neo Geo, and the like. If you think that Bad Dudes and SF2 are classics then I think that you are the dumbass. I agree that each collector needs dedicated boxes for classics games. I also agree that MAME is great if you have time to set it all up and tweak the crap out of it. I haven't had time to dedicate to my supposed MAME projetcs for 2 years or more. Sure it plays more games, but this system is already tweaked and ready to play. For $550, it's not much more than buying a P4 and all of the adapters, etc. My time savings is worth it. I still will use my dedicated cabs and JAMMA adapters to play DK, Frogger, Galaxian, etc, etc., but without this board I'd probably never get to play all of the puzzle games with my wife and all of the shooters like Mars Matrix and Metal Slug, etc. This board doesn't even play true classics. So maybe it's me that is the dumbass for being busy. Maybe my whole post is inappropriate since this board is for playing games and nothing to do with collecting. But, after being here on this group for 10 years, I always like to be kept up to date with what's new. My bad. And if you think that I am a POS for selling arcade items for profit, do you really think that I made any real money on these artwork projects that I did?
Punchout sideart Arkanoid CPO (new design) Star Wars CPO I, Robot CPO stickers etc.
Yes, these are distributed by Arcadeshop and all that I get in return is trade bait.
Later guys
Dave
