Slor,
on the schematic this cap is specifically identified as NON POLARIZED.
So, the Cap Kit should have included a non-polarized cap.
I suspect because Vectrex uses a dual polarity supply, the voltage
might flip at that location. Other than that, I would assume that if
you have a polarized cap, place the positive lead on the side leading
to R417 and negative lead on the side leading to D401 and D402. This
is a low power signal so I suspect you'll be ok (nothing will blow up).
Non-polarized version if this cap shoudl be readily available from any
electronic part supplier. Or I suspect that you could substitute it
with a non-electrolytic version of the cap. Like a polyester film or
mylar film cap. Just make sure that the voltage rating is the same or
higher than the original (that should be no problem) Original is 0.47
micro Farad 50V.
