QFTCIMI5 Game 4 Rounds 9-10 answers: fonts, challenge rock

Mark Brader:
These questions were written to be asked in Toronto on 2010-06-14,
and should be interpreted accordingly... For further information
see my 2010-05-11 companion posting on "MI5 Questions from the
Canadian Inquisition (QFTCIMI5)".

Despite missing the last pair of rounds, Stephen Perry has squeaked
out another win.

* Game 4, Round 9 - Miscellaneous - Name that Font

Please see the handout http://www.eskimo.com/~scs/msb/04/09/fonts.png
and give the number of the sentence that's in each indicated font.

There was a problem with sentence #13. The printed handout at the
original game, and the PNG image I uploaded for this contest, were
both produced, using different computers, in Micros--t Word from the
same original Word document. According to ooffice, the creator of
that document selected Calibri for that sentence. But as one entrant
pointed out, neither that sample nor any of the others looks like
Calibri; after some exploration with http://www.identifont.com,
I find that the actual font of #13 seems to be Century Gothic.
In case this is a common deficiency of Word, leading people to have
the wrong idea of what Calibri looks like, I'm still accepting #13
for the Calibri question; but I'm also accepting the correct answer
"none of these".

Also, sample sentences #3 and #15 are in Arial and Helvetica
respectively, but those fonts are deliberately very similar (US law
does not allow font designs to be copyrighted, see...) and at the
resolution of the image it is really not practical to tell them apart.
Most letterforms are practically identical in the two fonts; the
most easily distinguished ones would be capital G and R, and neither
occurs in the sample. The top right corners of the small F and R
and the top of the small T would also be noticeably different if you
had enough resolution and knew what to look for, but you pretty much
can't tell in the image I provided. So I'm simply treating these
two answers as equivalent. My apologies for the problem.

1. Georgia.

#6. 4 for Dan and Marc. 3 for Rob.

2. Times New Roman.

#9. 4 for Peter, Dan, and Marc. 3 for Rob. 2 for Boot and Joshua.

4. Blackadder ITC.

#4. 4 for Marc, Pete, and Rob. 3 for Dan, Boot, and Joshua.

7. Engravers MT.

#2. 4 for Peter, Boot, Marc, and Rob. 2 for Dan.

8. Verdana.

#1. 4 for Marc. 2 for Dan.

9. Calibri.

None of these (but accepting #13), as explained above. 4 for Marc.
3 for Joshua.

10. Helvetica.

Accepting #3 or #15, as explained above. 4 for Erland, Dan, Boot,
Marc, and Rob. 3 for Joshua.

So there were 5 decoys. You may name the fonts if you like
for fun, but for no points.

Nobody tried these.
#7 - Curlz MT.
#8 - Mistral.
#10 - Courier.
#11 - Tempus Sans ITC.
As noted above, #3 is Arial.
