I've never seen that tactic work with defending a path, but we do a

What tactic? You play a Path. Sometimes it gets killed. A lot of times
it doesn't. 'Cause your predator and prey often have more to worry about
than the Path. And better things to do. And when they burn the first one
and you play a second, it often appears to not be worth the effort
("Hmm. I could burn the Path or bleed for 3..."). If people cross table
are arbitrarily burning the path out of insanity, well, there isn't much
to be done about that. They could also be rushing you or hitting you for
3 KRC damage arbitrarily cross table out of insanity too. If the table
is full of cross table insanity, then the game is going to suck for
everyone. Not just you for playing a Path.

So you hold on to your cards for when you can use them, what happens
when you can't use them, sit and spin?

What are you even talking about? Sometimes decks get shut down. All
decks suffer from the occasional getting shut down. Most of the time,
decks tend to work, at least to a reasonable extent.

I guess I'm missing it from your 1st post, wheres your blood gain?

6 Blood Dolls?

Again how, the coven every once in a while, blood dolling to your
vamps?

You Blood Doll your little vampires and pull blood off. If you spend,
like, a grand total of 4-5 pool on vampires, even if you never get more
blood onto the vampires, you aren't doing so badly a great deal of the
time. Especially if you can back rush for defense and whittle down your
prey till it becomes good to play Week.

Good luck and I hope you don't run into a Tremere bruise and bleed
deck.

Uh, thanks? I'm kind of baffled by where this all came from. I wasn't
looking for advice on the deck. The deck is what it is, and either it
will work or it won't. I was just looking for opinions on the
differences between G2/3 and G4/5 crypts. Which I got, and that was
good. I mean, if folks wanna throw in on the deck, go nuts, but as
noted, I wasn't real interested in deck analysis.
