That was concisely and eloquently stated. :)

Furthermore, I'd say that the diversity of dealmaking approaches based
on the trustworthiness of the opponent is one of the things that makes
VTES interesting. If *everyone* kept their deals or *everyone* was a
known dealbreaker, the game would be less fun.
