The Windows version of RevivedHack now detects savescumming, a type of
cheating in which a particular saved game file is used more than once.
When savescumming is detected, for the remainder of the current game a
fake "BSOD" screen is randomly displayed. Also, at the end of the game
a bones file is not saved and the final score is not recorded.
I'm against savescumming, of course, but why harass the player with nag
screens instead of just not recording score (and bones)? After all, some
might savescum for exploration purposes (some people have expressed their
preference of this over exploremode[1] for that purpose, for whatever
reason) or just for fun, _knowing_ that they've not played a fair game.
Don't punish cheating, just make the cheater know that what he's doing is
cheating (there have been cases of players not realizing that savescumming
is cheating) and don't record the score.
[1] Of course, I don't even know whether revivedhack has explore mode
