G = me, level 2 or so gnomish wizard, still on the stairs from coming
down to level 2
f = cat, came down with me, just stepped on a rolling boulder trap
` = boulder that will presently come rolling over first cat, then me,
but is now out of sight in this picture.
You out there who say that *any* death is avoidable, how could I have
avoided this?
Not that I would have necessarily taken the trouble to avoid this trap
or survived myself, but since you asked :)
If you had first gone downstairs _without_ the naughty kitten, you
would have seen the boulder before finding the trap.
Nope. The boulder was in the hallway (not specifically said, but
definitely implied) so not visible without either a) hitting the trap
anyways on the way to the door or b) by getting to the hallway by an
unjustifed circuitious route to the door.
