If the level has already been generated then the beasty will simply be placed. If the level has yet to be generated then a note is attached to add the critter when the level is created.

I think there is already a system for doing this, which is used for monsters that escape up or down the stairs or fall down holes or get caught by leveltele traps.

For fairness add the Oracle to this also so that he answers questions for a cost and gives the same sort of directions. Most of the time I don't bother talking to the Oracle at all. I just pile a bunch of statues in front of him, zap the statues and leave the Oracle to fume and rave.

The Oracle is female.
