I would like to add the observation that curse resistance does not
change regardless of enchantment. It is always at 95%, which is nice to
have when those malignant auras appear after slaying Rodney.

That's the seventh column, labeled "CURSE RESIST", all of whose values
are 95%. Sorry I didn't make that clearer.

You're bringing up another point that should have been clearer.
Magicbane only gives curse resistance and magic resistance when wielded.
The more damage Magicbane does the less reason there is to wield a
different, higher damage weapon.

(The stun, to-hit, scare, etc. effects are only possible when hitting
with Magicbane.)

Indeed, on my ascension run only one item in my inventory ever became
cursed and that was the amulet of life saving I was wearing, and I never
had any reason to remove it.
