In addition to Jove's wonderful post on enchanting MB to +7 I would like to add the observation that curse resistance does not change regardless of enchantment. It is always at 95%, which is nice to have when those malignant auras appear after slaying Rodney. Indeed, on my ascension run only one item in my inventory ever became cursed and that was the amulet of life saving I was wearing, and I never had any reason to remove it.
