Eighth win. I built this guy for the extended endgame, but I am leaving
on a trip tomorrow and I wanted to get him out of the way, so I just
YAVPed him. As you can see he has a great spell arsenal to attack
Pandemonium, Tomb, Slime Pit and the Hells.
Well done!
I always founds Nagas to be one of the hardest races, but they
surprised me here. Once you get the hang of the low speed thing(having
Sting early helped me) and work around the low dodging aptitude, you
get some awesome benefits--1 AC/3 levels,
bonus HP second only to Ogres and Trolls
How do you get this?
Inventory:
Hand weapons
a - a +8,+7 elven long sword of speed (2486 gold)
(You took it off a deep elf mage on level 6 of the Elven Halls)
b - a +0 katana (300 gold)
(You found it on level 4 of the Realm of Zot)
[Is a katana of slicing is worse than a long sword or scimitar of
speed?]
It's about the same.
F - a wand of healing (7) (84 gold)
(You took it off Geryon in the Vestibule of Hell)
That was nice of him.
Your Spells Type Success
Level
a - Sting Poison/Conjuration Excellent 1
c - Detect Traps Divination Great 2
d - Blink Translocation Excellent 2
e - Fly Air/Enchantment Great 4
f - Selective Amnesia Enchantment Great 3
g - Banishment Translocation Very Good 5
h - Berserker Rage Enchantment Great 3
[This spell dominated my entire strategy once I got the amulet of
resist slowing. I never realized the power of berserk until this game.]
With resist slowing it is awesome, yes.
