I approve of this; good idea!
Probably the first thing to do would be to put what is written at the
RogueBasin page describing what a 7DRL is, on 7drl.org, possibly not
in wiki format (since "What is a 7DRL" probably isn't going to need
revisions all that often, and it will stop it from getting
Beyond that, I'm not sure. It's going to be hard to keep two lists of
7DRLs up to date (one on your site, one at RogueBasin). Maybe also
display them in HTML? You might have a simple bulletin board that
takes from input boxes "Game Name", "Contacts", "Website",
There's no reason that it couldn't be integrated with RogueBasin provided that they are OK with that
RogueBasin runs on MediaWiki which I'm reasonably familiar with and which has an API that I could talk to in order to keep the data that's common between the two sites in sync:
It would be a nice addition to RogueBasin's 7DRL section because we could customize it specifically for the needs of the 7DRL writing/playing challenges, ie have ability to give entries a rating, vote for entries, comment on entries, link to relevant Usenet threads etc. etc.
We can also have downloads all in one place, or link to an url of the authors choice if for some reason they aren't happy with 7drl.org hosting the download (maybe they want to track downloads, but no reason we can't provide something that too)
