Instead of a COM/dll/... interface, define a network protocol between
the creature and the dungeon server. Thus, anybody will be able to
code a creature AI and put it in your dungeon server, whatever
language or os they use. You can also extend the concept so that
entire dungeons are implemented by remote machines. This lead to the
concept of WWRL "World Wide Roguelike" where all dungeons generators
of the world will merge into a single world wide roguelike... ;).
Just a crazy developer dream...
