Please take a look at the screenshot which shows four of such maps.
What do you think about it? What should I improve?
I think the rivers don't look very realistic. On the 4th map, there is a river
which seemingly just ends in the middle of the plains. On 3rd there's a river
which flows through the mountains. On 1st there is a river which starts close
to another river and then proceeds to flow in completely different direction.
I think you need to calculate a heightmap and simulate rivers properly.
The lakes look nice though.
