I checked the source for this a while back, so I still have it sitting
in an email:

- It takes away the energy penalty for moving through trees,
mountains, boulders and obelisks (?)
- Removes any damage from walking through shallow and deep swamps,
including the fume damage you'd normally get from feather_fall
floating over deep swamps.

Incidentally you also get it automatically if you're a level 10+
ranger, which is a nice idea.
