I think the shop UI should have been nipped in the bud long ago,
before it was implemented.  To add insult to injury, it won't even change
in the near future because you're 'sick of looking at that code', due to
all the work that went into a bad change that should have been discussed.

I understand your indignation at this change, and offer my apologies that
it has hurt your experience of the game.  I would like you to also
understand that I have burnout on the store code.

I'm not "indignant" over the in-game effects of the change itself; I merely
find them annoying.

I'm "indignant" over the fact that this change was not apparently presented
for public opinion before being implemented, and that implementation was so
extensive that it caused you burnout, which in effect 'baked it into the
code' for the time being.

You seem to feel that the change is reasonably defensible.

Hi

I think you should take a deep breath. There's nothing here that you
are entitled to be indignant about; neither does Andrew have a
responsibility to code to your specifications.

Best to drop the issue for now. If you don't like the change, revert
to an earlier version or patch your copy.

In terms of Andrew's procedures as the maintainer, he has now had
plenty of opportunities to take feedback on board on this issue, if he
so wishes, and I doubt continuing to complain will help.
