Hi all
I'm pretty close to a first Ironband release. It is coming along well.
I finished updating the help files today (boring!).
Your variant looks interesting to me. If you release a Mac OS X port
(version 10.4.10), I'll certainly give it a try.
I don't have a Mac. If I release the source, I hope someone (you?)
will compile a port and send it back to me for release? It should be
much the same as compiling NPP or Quickband, there are instructions
around.
A.
If you release the source and extremely simple, step-by-step
instructions on how to compile it, I'd be happy to do that. I read
the Quickband compilation instructions posted here recently, but
failed when I got an error message on the step where I input "make -f
Makefile.osx clean " into the terminal. I know it warns me to expect
many errors, but I got one and nothing else. All this may be because
I'm running a PowerBook G4, which is (I believe) not an Intel based
Mac.
To sum up, if given the source and simple instructions, I'll send back
a Mac port.
Mike
