Algorithmic balancing of monsters

Hi,

I mentioned previously that I was looking at backporting the Unangband monster
power algorithm to Angband to see how it changed the monster distribution in the
dungeon.

Well, I've done version 0.1. You can download this from:

http://prdownload.berlios.de/unangband/monster.txt

Plese note that I've removed a lot of the smarts from Unangband code which
relied on the 4GAI tables that Leon Marrick developed. To go back to vanilla
Angband, I had to go back to the randart.c patch evaluation functions developed
by Chris's Robertson and Carr. As a result, this undervalues low power breaths
with dangerous side effects. I also temporarily disabled a function that boosted
the threat from fast annoying breeders. There's undoubtedly lots of other
balancing required as well.

Please feel free to comment.

Andrew
