Bought one of the Keurig coffee makers to put on my pinball
workbench. I tend to drink coffee the whole time I'm doing a game
shopout and this baby keeps me caffeinated all day long. Just stick
one of the pre-packaged coffee ground thingamagiggies in the machine,
press the start button and 45 seconds later you're sucking down hot
java while waxing a freshly shopped playfield and living the good
life.
Thanks to Rob Anthony for turning me on to the Keurig way of
caffeinated pinball repair. :-)

I guess k-cups work for you if you just want a caffeine tap. Never met a
k-cup that made a quality cup of java. (Despite trying a few different
commercial machines, probably 20+ types of cups, at 3 places of work
with top-of-the-line setups and frequent fresh orders of k-cups--still
meh...) And those overpriced k-cups are wasteful and a pain to store.
For others who want good-tasting coffee (caffeine included!), the Senseo
(or Bunn My Cafe) pod makers make far better/richer coffee than the
keurig. Lots of quality pods available (individually wrapped, flat
packets store easily). Better yet, wrap a small scoop of your own grinds
in a small paper basket filter (takes maybe 10 seconds) and fresh-ground
single-cup goodness awaits.
Another killer option (but you have to heat water yourself) is the
Aeropress. Look it up. Works great in regular and upside-down modes.
Coffee comes out extremely smooth when made according to
directions--reminds me of cold-extracted coffee. Makes phenomenal iced
coffee too.
