I own all of the games you mention but ToM and STTNG. I had a ST:TNG,
and it did nothing for me - and really, it's probably a 'B' title. ToM
is also arguably a 'B' title, but is plenty of fun. And there are 'C'
titles like BSD and WCS 94 that are loads and loads of fun.
You're missing out on a TON of great games by only buying those 'A'
titles...

Greetings,
I started with TZ& TAF two months ago (thinking these were good
titles to start with). Just got ToM two days ago and was very
surprised that I'm thinking I like it much better than TZ& TAF! My
guests seemed to like it a little more as well.
So much for perennial high rankings; I mean I like TZ& TAF, but I'm
thinking the lower-ranked ToM is more fun (my most important
criteria). So with only room for 6 more, that machines would you
recommend based on fun factor?
Want to stick with the "blue-chip" A-listers. I'm thinking (in
alphabetical order):
1. AFM
2. CFTBL (only if I can find a nice green hologram)
3. CV
4. MB
5. MM
6. STTNG
What have I overlooked or what would you omit based on what you've
read?
Thanks very much in advance,
Neil

You are leaving out many great playing games with this request. To

John & Chris:
That's just my newness to the hobby evidently showing through: I
just assumed the more expensive A list games (excluding very new
games)were inherently more fun or they wouldn't be priced as high.
If you feel strongly that some B or even C titles are more fun than
any of the A listers I mentioned (or omitted), please chime in with
your recommendations!
Thanks once again.
