Hi,
Phew, my Charlie's Angels project is one fault after another!
I had it all working and decided to change the rubbers, so I left the
machine on so that I could change a couple if GI bulbs under the
plastics. I did this then tried a game only to find none of my
displays worked. I checked my psu voltages and found that my 60vdc was
only 13v and I had no 42vdc at all, so I removed the board used my DMM
to check transistors etc. But nothing seems to be obviously faulty,
the solder joints are ok. Does anyone know what may have popped?
Thanks.

Are you checking the voltages using the ground on that connector, or
the cabinet ground? I believe those two need to be checked using the
ground on the connector.

I'm checking the voltage at the small power supply board on the left
in the backbox, I have disconnected the plug at the top and on the
right hand side of this board, just leaving the plug from the
transformer in, I have all my input voltages ok including the 69vac.
When I meter the right hand side connector instead of having 60vdc I
only have 13vdc. I have had a quick run over the components with my
DMM but haven't found anything obvious.

You didn't answer my question. When you're checking the voltages on
the board, where are you touching the ground lead of the DMM?

Sorry,
I think the separate ground you speak of is for the 8v dc and 4v dc
and is the ground on a different plug, the 60v and 42v have their own
separate ground on the same plug. I have found the problem now anyway
it is C10 which is a 1uf 50v cap and has gone short circuit.
Thanks though.
