Hi all,

I am having some trouble with my Indiana Jones pinball (williams).
Yesterday all of theflashersstopped lighting up all at the same time
while playing.  When I go into the test mode, I press the door
trigger, and only the plane LED/super ball light up out of all the
flashers.

I have done some research from past posts and done some initial
investigation based on what I read.  I looked at fuse F111 and it
appears fine, but I guess I need to take it our and test it to be
sure.

Question 1:  What is the best way to remove this fuse?  Do I need a
special tool?
Question 2:  What is the best tool to test the fuse and see if it has
been blown?  I know they can look fine and still be blown sometimes,
so I want to be sure.
Question 3:  Since the plane LED/Super ball light work, should i be
looking places other than the fuse?

Here are a couple of other interesting facts:  LED 5 is not lit on the
Power drive board.  Don't know if this matters, but on the WPC CPU
Board Assembly, LED D19 is not lit and D20 is flashing.

Question 4:  Should LED 5 always be lit?
Question 5:  What tools do I need to see if the proper power is
getting to the board to power theflashers?

I am a little lost on what to do next and some of the previous posts
which indicate a possible path are a little advanced for me to
understand.  If anyone can offer some help, I would really appreciate
it.

David see my previous post about this same exact problem (turned out
to be a shorted lamp socket.)http://groups.google.com/group/rec.games.pinball/browse_thread/thread...
JJ

Thanks for the link, JJ.

But I'm not sure its the same problem since I don't think my fuse is
blown. Unless I have tested it wrong as I asked in my latest post.

Should I try to unplug the J connectors which apply to flashers and
see if my 20V comes back up?

Should I replace the fuses just to see if they could be bad but not
blown?

I have been reviewing this

http://www.pinrepair.com/begin/index.htm

and it has been giving me some good insight on board repair. To
answer Lloyd's earlier question, I would love to run a couple more
tests and see if the repair would be a simple bridge. But if it ends
up needing a removed/replaced chip or something more difficult I'll
have to get a pro.

Thanks for offering the previous answers.
