Re: best replacement WPC driver board

This really confuses me. If diagnostics is telling you the ROM is bad, why
wouldn't you replace the ROM?

You have no idea where to look, but the game is telling you exactly where to
look....

The problem I'm having is, the diagnostics say the ROM is out. I
don't think that's correct. So that's the CPU and not the driver
board.

I honestly have no idea where to look. I thought maybe I'd have more
insight into what to do in this situation. With nothing to go on, no
signs of any problem in a specific area, swapping board-level
components or mailing things off to be repaired that may not even be
broken doesn't seem like the best thing to do. So I'm at a loss. My
rationale is, if I"m going to shoot in the dark, I'd rather have a
bazooka (new driver board) than a bb gun (replacing caps and
rectifiers).

I'm open to advice. Any advice. Should I build some sort of altar
and start sacrificing things? I've sent off e-mails to Clay and
some other people. I thought maybe I'd get more to go on here, but in
this case I haven't so now I'm researching my other options in lieu of
knowing where to look.
