I think the appeal with pitch & bats is it's easy to play. They are
fun at parties since people understand what to do immediately. They're
great with kids, especially young ones.

I added a Slugfest to my collection this summer and my 5 year old
loves it. I agree with the other's that it's a lot more fun as a two
player game. My son and I love baseball so there are times when we
turn on the tv to watch a ballgame and also play slugfest at the same
time.

In a multi-game collection pitch & bats fit nicely, by themselves they
will probably get old quickly.
