I am looking at a Bally Strikes and Spares in Colorado Springs that is
for sale on CL for $450.
The owner had an estimate from 4-29-2008 from Classic Jukebox and Game
Co, with an itemized estimate for repairs, and he had listed that the
MPU board was in need of repair, (Bridge Rectifier)
I don't want to bother Mr.Jukebox with digging through old notes, so I
wanted to ask y'all if you could shed some light on what Bridge
rectifier he was referring to.
The Pin is cosmetically in decent shape, backglass looks like a 8 or 9
at least and the playfield plastics are in good shape. ONE of the
star-rollovers will have to be replaced since its green and all the
rest are orange. It needs the usual things a pin in storage for
several years needs, like new rubbers, bulbs, leg levelers, and the
coin door has some smutz on it that will need buffing out. It has a
microswitch mounted mid door which must be a credit button. Aside from
a mudwasp nest (long abandoned) the insides are pretty good.
This is my wife's opportunity to rectify (pun) a past mistake and get
this pin back in our collection, so I hoped you guys could clue me in
on that component.
